Mohamed Salah was appearing in another Pepsi advert having previously starred alongside Lionel Messi

The Egyptian winger has previously starred in commercials for the soft drink brand in the past, featuring alongside other stars including Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling.

A body double was used to film some of the scenes for the advert in an attempt to limit the risk of injury to Salah

Salah’s appearance in the advert comes as his recent form sees him tagged the “best player in the world” by some pundits.

The Liverpool forward was spotted sprinting down the street as onlookers on foot and bicycles chased after him. He had on a casual outfit.

The sequences reportedly involved up to fifty extras, and the Duke Street section of Liverpool had to have a road closed for the duration of the production.
