Carlo Ancelotti showed off his best dance moves while Real Madrid celebrated their La Liga win on Sunday. He even joined in with a conga line.
It was a wild night for Madrid’s players because they had just won their 36th league title and taken the prize back from Barcelona.
In the morning, they were given the shiny prize and then jumped on an open-top bus for a tour of the city in front of thousands of fans.
The club put off the parade so they could focus on their 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
The day after beating Granada 4-0, Ancelotti’s team finally had a chance to celebrate on Sunday, thanks to a quick tour of Madrid’s most famous sites.
Madrid’s Community Headquarters was the start of the parade. The team then went to City Hall, where Mayor Jose Luis Martinez Almeida met them.
Then, Madrid got together at Plaza de Cibeles, which is a famous square where fans and players have usually celebrated big wins.
Ancelotti took the mic to give a short but funny speech to the crowd while his players gathered around the Fountain of Cybele.
The coach told the team, “I love you all very much, Hala Madrid.” “I want to dance with Eduardo Camavinga in my dreams.” “DJ, play the music.”
So Ancelotti could show off his dance skills, he copied Camavinga’s moves in front of his teammates in a video that went viral on social media very quickly.
After that, the whole squad joined in, and then they formed a conga around the pond.
Madrid won La Liga by a comfortable margin, with four games to spare.
As he did at Madrid’s party in 2022, Boss Ancelotti was the center of attention during the parade while smoking a cigar and wearing shades.
In the league this season, Madrid has only lost one game and has beaten Barcelona twice. They have also scored more goals and given up fewer than any other team in the top flight.
To win their 15th Champions League title, they will play Borussia Dortmund.
