In the midst of Taylor Swift’s courtship, Travis Kelce is putting up with significant adjustments to secure his safety.
Jason Kelce disclosed on The Big Podcast With Shaq that his brother, the tight end, had to vacate his home as a precaution.
“Travis knows way more than I do, he had to completely move out of his house. People were just staying by his house. And the first day he moved into the new house … in a gated community, somebody knocked on the back window of the house,” he said.
Jason’s remarks are in response to Travis purchasing a $6 million property in Kansas City in October 2023—just one month after he and the Gorgeous singer began dating.
The Philadelphia Eagles player said that he now understands the true meaning of “fame” in addition to discussing the negative effects of his family’s rise to prominence.
“We’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before,” he said.
Not only was the 2024 Super Bowl a star-studded event in itself, but Taylor Swift‘s suite also appeared like the place to be for other celebrities.
Jason Kelce revealed that a handful of stars stopped by their suite in Allegiant Stadium to meet the Grammy-winning superstar.
“Turns out everybody wants to meet Taylor,” the Philadelphia Eagles center said. “I think it was my first [time] really understanding … some of the things that she has to deal with on a lot of basis.
“There’s so many star-studded people there, where it’s like everybody wants to come see her. But the suite’s only so big and it’s like, it was overwhelming, to be honest with you,” Jason added. “I was going outside the suite, talking to Keegan-Michael Key and his wife and a bunch of people. And it was like the celebrity attendance at the game was pretty unreal.”
Swift was seen cheering on the Chiefs and her tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce on Sunday, alongside several of her famous friends, including Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry. But several other notable figures stopped by her suite, as well, such as Shaquille O’Neal, Paul McCartney and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
