Since joining Real Madrid this summer, Kylian Mbappe trained with his new teammates for the first time. He is soon to make his official debut.
Mbappe was captain of France during Euro 2024 before taking a quick trip to Spain for a break. He won a lot of titles at PSG for seven years but chose to start a new chapter.
Social media posts show the forward happy with Carlo Ancelotti and Jude Bellingham while they work out at Madrid’s Valdebebas base.
Before going inside the state-of-the-art building to put on his training gear, Mbappe took the time earlier in the day to sign a few autographs for fans.
Soon after, Bellingham, Dani Carvajal, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga joined the 25-year-old.
It is thought that all seven players did exercise work inside.
However, they will work with the rest of the first team starting Thursday. The team just got back from a pre-season tour of the United States.
Diego Pintus, Mbappe’s fitness coach, put him on a tight summer schedule to make sure he is ready to go right away when the new season starts.
The star shared four pictures from his first practice with the team on X, which used to be Twitter, with the caption “Day One, Hala Madrid!”
He was publicly introduced to a crowd of excited Madrid fans at the Bernabeu on July 16, but he hasn’t played in any of the pre-season friendlies yet.
In fact, Mbappe wasn’t on the team that lost to Barcelona in New Jersey, and he also didn’t play in yesterday’s friendly win over Chelsea.
The frontman is expected to make his debut in Madrid’s next game, which is the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta. Ancelotti has said that he expects him to play.
Ancelotti told Mundo Deportivo, “The French player Mbappe can play right away in the Super Cup.” Jude Bellingham and others as well.
“They are ready, they followed a plan, and they will all play.”
During his time at PSG, Mbappe won 15 trophies, but the Ligue 1 elite team was never able to win an international title.
He could win his first European title in his first game for Real Madrid, though.
