Strange: The reason why Wonderkid Lamine Yamal disappeared for 9 minutes in Barcelona’s victory over Porto and never returned again

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal had a historic night out under the lights, but he had to miss some of it to go to the bathroom.

When Real Madrid played Porto tonight in the Champions League, Yamal played his first full game for the Spanish giants.

He beat Celestine Babayaro’s record from the 1994–95 season as the youngest player to ever start a Champions League game. He was 16 years and 83 days old at the time.

But with Barcelona ahead 1-0 after an extra-time goal by Ferran Torres in the first half, Yamal left the game to go to the bathroom.

The kid left the field in the 71st minute to go to the bathroom.

But Yamal never came back on the field. In the 80th minute, he was substituted off against his will, and Barcelona had only ten players left on the field for almost ten minutes.

When the game was over, manager Xavi told the kid what had happened.

“Lamine Yamal was sick,” he said. He had been telling me for a while that he was sick.

“During a break, I told him to hurry up and go to the bathroom, but they told me he wouldn’t be able to come back on the field.”

The La Liga team won the game even though Gavi was sent off in the last minute.

With this win, Barcelona is now in first place in Group H, having won both of its games so far.

Not only has Yamal broken the record for most Champions League games played this season, but he has also broken other records.
