The goal for Real Madrid is for Guler to fully heal.

World Sports News (h/t RM4Arab) says that Real Madrid wants Arda Guler to fully heal so that he can play when Carlo Ancelotti asks him to.

Guler has been hurt since the pre-season tour of the US. He got two more injuries that kept him out for the first half of the season.

He was most recently hurt by a tear in his leg, which kept him from playing for about a month. It was thought that he would be able to play in the last two games of the year against Villarreal and Alaves, but that did not happen.

Even though his return is getting closer, the Merengues are being careful with the Turkish star because Carlo Ancelotti will only call him up when he is ready.

Additionally, the story says that Guler’s recent string of illnesses has significantly weakened his physical condition, which calls for extra care and more time to allow for his recovery.

Real Madrid will be able to use Vinicius Jr. and Eduardo Camavinga next month, though, because they are working hard to get there before the Spanish Super Cup starts.
