Barcelona is in front.

Even though Echeverri could be worth a lot, Barcelona is more likely to sign the young Argentine star.

That’s because the young player from River Plate has made it clear that he loves FC Barcelona, mostly because his football hero is Lionel Messi.

“Like River, I want to play for Barcelona.” In a talk right before the U17 World Cup, he said, “I’ve always liked Messi and watched him play for Barcelona.” I’ve been on this team since I was a kid.

Both Messi and Echeverri want to start their careers in Europe. Messi plays for Barcelona.

Barcelona hasn’t made a straight move for Echeverri yet, but the 17-year-old has said he loves the club, so they may do so in the future.

He is not going to think too much about his future right now. When Argentina plays Germany in the playoffs, he will want to help them win their first U17 FIFA World Cup.
