The travelling group from Madrid, along with the players included in the squad, departed from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport and arrived in the French city after a little more than two-hour flight.
After that, the team headed to the Novotel Lille Airport, where they would stay for the Pierre-Mauroy stadium match versus Lille, which was scheduled to start at 9 p.m. CEST.
