The future of Barcelona couple João Félix and João Cancelo is weakening when both show unstable performance.

Thursday, we learned more about what the people in charge at Barcelona have planned for loan signings João Félix and João Cancelo.

Of course, the “two Joãos” moved to Camp Nou this summer. As Barcelona looked for more backup at both the back and up top, they brought in Cancelo and Félix on loan from Manchester City and Atlético Madrid, respectively.

They then had great starts to their time in Catalunya, looking like the missing bits of Xavi’s team.

But in the last few weeks, the pair’s style has changed. The number of goals Félix has scored has dropped off a hill. He has gone ten games in all competitions without scoring a goal.

And the most recent news seems to show that these fights have planted doubts in the minds of the people in charge in Barcelona.
