On September 12, the Golden State Warriors point guard was in Chengdu, China, to see the first Curry Brand House open. Chengdu is one of the biggest towns in China.

Curry and De’Aaron Fox, a player for the Sacramento Kings, opened the 3,300-square-foot store together.

Curry was seen with shorts, hot pink trainers, and a black and pink jacket.

A China tour and a line of trainers called “Curry Tour” were also announced by Curry Brand. The trainers are based on the Chinese mythological character Pangu, who is thought to be the first living thing in the world.

In a release, Jason Archer, who is in charge of Under Armour’s Asia-Pacific division, said:

.

Chengdu is a big city and cultural center in central China. The store is in a brand-new mall there. Since the Curry Brand tour was going to be here and China is a big market for us, we chose Chengdu as the best place to open our first shop. Archer also said, “The brand has a bright future, especially in China, where basketball is very popular and Stephen Curry is one of the most famous NBA players of all time.” As an example of how the brand is growing and going global, this Curry Brand show in China with De’Aaron Fox and Stephen as the main acts is a great example.

In the past, Under Armour has worked with China. For example, they made uniforms for the China Basketball Association.

When it first came out in 2020, the Curry Brand sold shoes, clothes, and accessories “across multiple categories, including basketball and golf.”

It’s about “creating opportunity, access, and equality for youth sports in neighborhoods around the world.”
