Aaron Wan-Bissaka has arrived at Old Trafford as Manchester United prepares to play Newcastle United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The right-back hasn’t played for Manchester United since September 16 against Brighton and Hove Albion. He came on as a substitute for five minutes but hurt his hamstring and had to miss six weeks of action.
Last week, it was confirmed that Wan-Bissaka was ahead of plan in his recovery because he had returned to full training with the team. Now, it looks like he may finally play again against the Magpies.
Reports say that talks about a new contract with the 25-year-old have been put on hold for now. Instead, the club will try to extend his deal for another year and then look at his situation again in the new year.
