According to Corriere dello Sport, Man United can recruit midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on loan from Fiorentina in the coming days.
United are in dire need of a midfielder, and have identified Sofyan Amrabat as a priority target. But they are delaying the deal. That makes Fiorentina difficult.
.
Currently, the Moroccan player still has to practice alone, and is not on the registration list of the Italian team. With this situation, Fiorentina is forced to consider a possible option before the summer transfer window 2023 closes in a few days.
New reports from Corriere dello Sport claim Fiorentina is ready to let Amrabat leave on loan, but with two conditions attached. First, the 27-year-old must agree to a one-year contract extension with the club, until 2025, when they don’t want to lose him for free. Second, there will be a mandatory purchase clause attached.
Thus, Man United can borrow Amrabat now, and will buy it permanently next summer, to better conform to the rules of the Financial Fair Play, and also no longer worry about restrictions in transfer budget.
