Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal started a YouTube page yesterday, and within a couple of hours, hundreds of thousands of people had already signed up to follow him.
As reported by AlJazeera The football player from Portugal set a new record for the fastest YouTube channel to get one million followers.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is 39 and plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
“The wait is over.” There it is! My YouTube channel is now live! “Subscribe and come with me on this new journey,” Ronaldo wrote on his social media pages.
A few hours after he posted his first video, 1.69M people had signed up to follow him.
On the X app, Ronaldo has 112.5 million fans. On Facebook, he has 170 million fans; on Instagram, he has 636 million.
The player, who used to play for Real Madrid and Manchester United, is getting ready for Thursday’s Saudi Pro League start against Al-Raed at home.
