With the January trade window drawing near, discussions over Raphinha’s future are once again taking place.

The famous Barcelona player was rumoured to be leaving Catalonia this summer. Tottenham Hotspur is interested in him right now because they want to enhance their offensive options.

Raphinha piques Ahlul’s curiosity as well.

However, according to a report from SPORT, Saudi Arabia might be able to recruit Raphinha before Tottenham does.

This is due to the fact that Raphinha is being considered for a potential trade by Al Hilal, one of the largest teams in Saudi Arabia, before the January transfer market starts.

Raphinha is apparently appealing to Al Hilal as a replacement for Neymar, who suffered a serious injury and won’t be back until the following season.

Victor Osimhen and Jadon Sancho are two more names that have been linked to a move to Al Hilal. Raphinha, though, might be a wise decision for the Saudi heavyweights.

Barcelona’s sentiments towards Raphinha

Given the current situation, Raphinha is not yet necessary for Barcelona to part with.

The team doesn’t have many attacking options now that Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele, and Ez Abde all left in the summer, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

However, if Barcelona feels the strain of the economic slump, the Brazilian international might be offloaded.

After all, the team faces a significant challenge in trying to replace the injured Gavi, which may require Barcelona to bring in more midfield players in January.

Raphinha, however, enjoys her life in Barcelona. But if the Catalans want the forward to be a reliable offensive weapon down the road, he must begin seizing his opportunities quickly.
