GABRI VEIGA will become the latest high-profile star to move to the Saudi Pro League this summer, according to reports.

The Celta Vigo ace is set to quit LaLiga for Al-Ahli.

Manchester United scouts have sent many positive reports about Gabri Veiga to the club’s chiefs.

While just last week he had appeared to be on the verge of moving to Italian champions Napoli.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer analyst, claims that Veiga has made the decision to join Al-Ahli. Romano once explained that Napoli’s attempts to alter the original agreements prevented the Spaniard from joining the team as a rookie. Therefore, despite everything being planned, Veiga chose not to fly to Naples.

He continues by saying that Al-Ahli’s “secret” main target was the attacking midfielder.

Veiga will make the jump at the age of just 21, upsetting fans in Europe, whereas players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Sadio Mane, and Riyad Mahrez relocated to Saudi Arabia in their 30s.

The young player made his debut for Celta this season off the bench, but he did not play against Real Sociedad last weekend.
