Travis Kelce has opened up about his swift relationship with Taylor Swift and how being with the pop star has changed his life.

Since he began dating Swift this year, the NFL player—who won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs—has gained even more notoriety. Their relationship became official when she attended Arrowhead Stadium in late September to support him.

J. R. Moehringer, who penned Prince Harry’s autobiography Spare, informed Kelce that someone on Swift’s staff assisted in putting them in touch after Kelce told Moehringer about his unsuccessful attempt to give Swift his phone number following an Eras performance in Kansas City.

“For sure, she had people in her corner who knew who I was and told her, ‘Yo! Did you know he was going to come? Kelce said, “I had someone play Cupid.”

Not long after, they set up a first date. Kelce, who is usually very sure of himself on the football field, was nervous, though.

“When I met her in New York, we had already been talking a little, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and talk, and then you know what will happen.”
