Supporters of football were ecstatic to witness superstar Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid make a connection with renowned American rapper Travis Scott in Madrid.

When popular American rapper Travis Scott met Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior in Madrid on Wednesday, July 31, fans were ecstatic. While Scott was on vacation and on tour in Europe, the Brazilian sent him a photo.

In 2023–2024, Vinicius enjoyed a fantastic season with Real Madrid. Throughout all tournaments, he participated in 39 games, scoring 24 goals and setting up 11 more. This includes a crucial goal that helped Real Madrid achieve an unprecedented double on June 1 in their 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final.

Following a lacklustre Copa America campaign with Brazil (they were eliminated by Uruguay in the quarterfinals), the 24-year-old is currently taking time off. He recently returned from a Travis Scott concert in Madrid.

On the social media platform X, Vinicius posted a photo of himself exchanging his number 7 shirt for the rapper’s and referred to Scott as a “Legend.”

When two well-known figures from disparate disciplines crossed paths, fans were both thrilled and surprised. It was even dubbed the gathering of “GOATs” by one enthusiast.

In May, Vinicius requested a gig in Madrid after talking about Travis Scott on Instagram. The Brazilian’s dream was granted because on July 31 he was able to see the film.

Vinicius Junior has resumed his workout regimen as Real Madrid prepares for their encounter with Barcelona.

After seeing Travis Scott’s performance in Madrid, Vinicius returned to Real Madrid’s US base to assist with prepping for the upcoming campaign. On July 31, they played their first preseason game against AC Milan, and they lost 1-0. Barcelona will take on Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in the El Clasico at MetLife Stadium on August 3.

Vinicius was joined by two more Brazilian colleagues, Rodrygo and Eder Militao. Real Madrid can now get closer to being fully healthy. Dani Carvajal, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappe, the newest player, will soon be joining Real Madrid. Before facing Atalanta in the Super Cup final on August 14, they have two more games to play.

Conversely, Ancelotti has stated that Real Madrid may not enter into any more agreements this summer. Despite the fact that the squad was in need of a centre back and was unable to recruit Leny Yoro (who is currently a player for Manchester United), Ancelotti is pleased with the team’s strength and believes it will continue that way.
