JESSE LINGARD gave a report on his health while he looked for a new club.
He hasn’t had a team since leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season. He used to play for Manchester United.
Lingard, who is 30 years old, had been training with the Saudi team Al-Ettifaq to get a deal.
He trained with Steven Gerrard’s team for a month with players like Jordan Henderson, Moussa Dembélé, and Georginio Wijnaldum.
His dream job did not come true, though, because the team is already full until at least January.
Lingard has been working by himself since then.
He put up a picture on Instagram of himself working out with a teacher one-on-one.
It said “Working baby” under the picture.
Lingard failed to accept a possible deal with West Ham, a team he had played on loan with before, in order to chase a deal with Saudi Arabia.
During the summer, he trained with the Hammers and even played in a practice game.
Lingard scored just two goals for Forest in all categories last year.
In three Carabao Cup games, he scored two goals and set up two others.
The former star player for Manchester United played 17 times in the Premier League but didn’t score or set up a goal.
When his deal with Man United ended in 2022, he was able to move to the City Ground for free.
