Four days after celebrating his foundation’s annual gala to raise funds for Brazilian children in vulnerable situations, Vinicius Junior wanted to show his gratitude to the participants and collaborators in a message on his social networks. The Madrid player announced that more than 800,000 euros have been raised.

“In the afternoon, tears, endless affection from more than 300 children and the certainty that the Vini Jr Institute is on the right path. In the evening, a magical event, where I was hugged in solidarity. Friends from Brazil, the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain contributed with a donation of 5 million Reales,” wrote Vinicius, who was accompanied at the gala by fellow colleagues such as Camavinga, Mendy, rivals such as Leao and several Brazilian celebrities from the world of entertainment.

“My July 17, 2024 was a reflection. I saw that the dream of that 19-year-old boy to collaborate with the evolution of education in Brazil has come true. Today I am a 24-year-old man and even more sure of the obligation I have towards children and young people,” he added.

“The Vini Jr Institute is my pride, a dream of my family. And it will continue to be very strong. We will soon have special news to share,” he announced in conclusion.
