It wasn’t the best way for Vinicius Jr. to end the 2021–22 season—by beating his childhood hero in the Champions League final and being hailed as the best player in the world.

The forward for Real Madrid scored in the second half of the Champions League final in Paris against Liverpool. It was his first European title and second La Liga title.
