The Brazilian attacker took a sabbatical from football when his season with Real Madrid in Europe ended and he returned home to Rio. At the Maracana, he watched his former team, Flamengo, defeat Vasco, 4-1. A lull in the action allowed the forward to enter the game.

Each squad presented him with a jersey bearing their logos and player numbers.It will be some time before I return to Flamengo. I’m happy to be in the famous Maracana setting. I really appreciate all they done for me.
