A judge was yelled at by Lionel Messi during an X-rated rant after Inter Miami’s third straight MLS draw.
Star-studded Miami has now gone three games without a win after a 1-1 tie with Charlotte on Saturday at Chase Stadium.
Karol Swiderski scored the first goal for the guests in the 57th minute, but Messi, who is 37 years old, tied the game 10 minutes later.
In the 12th minute of extra time, the home team almost scored a late winner.
The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner lofted the ball towards Jordi Alba, who used to play for Barcelona and then passed it to Luis Suarez, who is also a star at the club.
But Suarez missed the goal from close range when he volleyed the ball over the bar.
After he crashed into Charlotte custodian Kristijan Kahlina, the attacker fell to the ground in pain.
Angry at the end of the game, Messi said that the Liverpool great should have been given a penalty.
After the game was over, the camera got the star forward yelling at the referee.
Spain’s Mundo Deportivo said that Messi told the judge.
A red card should have been given to the Argentina leader, but instead he got a yellow.
Kerwin Vargas scored for Charlotte but the goal was called off because he wasn’t onside earlier in the game. Vargas beat Miami goalie Drake Callender from close range.
Messi is still the best player in the MLS. He has scored 15 goals and set up 10 others in 16 games.
