Wayne Rooney’s £20 Million ‘Morrisons Mansion’: A Football Field, Fishing Lakes, Cinema, and Swimming Pool Await Inside

A return to England for Wayne Rooney and his family is in the works. His “Morrisons mansion,” which he bought for £20 million, features a movie theater, two lakes for fishing, a pool, and a full-size football field. He plans to reside there.

Birmingham City have just appointed the renowned former Manchester United and England player as manager. After John Eustace was let go, he assumed leadership at St. Andrews.

The Rooney family finally moved into their idyllic home in 2021, thanks to Wayne, Coleen, and everyone else.

Construction of their £20 million Cheshire estate was dubbed the “Morrisons mansion” throughout its construction.

Situated on forty acres of property, this mansion boasts a swimming pool, two lakes ideal for fishing, and a cinema.

Rumor has it that Rooney paid a real estate developer in Cheshire almost £4 million to construct the fortress (!)

The couple’s four sons—Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass—and his wife Coleen remained in England to live with their mother. Along with his coaching crew, he was residing in Washington.

When he returns home to live with his family in their posh Cheshire mansion full-time after joining the Blues—who are sponsored by Tom Brady—his family will be there to encourage him no end.

Rooney and Coleen, both 37 years old, are landowners. Among their many UK residences are those in Florida and the Caribbean.

Their six-bedroom mansion on forty acres of land, which costs twenty million pounds, is the icing on the cake.

Having constructed it from the ground up, the family settled in in December 2021.

Rumor has it that High Lake Manor is located in Cheshire.

Rooney and his companion may be considered the house’s lord and mistress.

As we said before, the property expanded to accommodate a full-size football pitch that United’s all-time leading scorer had constructed there, complete with seating.

Even though the five-a-side pitch contains changing rooms with showers, he was unable to install floodlights due to his house’s remote location.

Not only that, but he also has a swimming pool, a movie theater, a garage for his automobiles, and two artificial lakes where he goes fishing.

Rumor has it that Rooney is an avid fisherman.

For a long time, the house’s neighbors teased it by comparing its size and shape to a Morrisons shop.

It used to be a Morrisons, but today it features a wine store, a movie theater, a snooker room, a bar, an orangery, and a television room.

At Rooney’s posh mansion, you’ll find a big indoor pool encircled by a glass pavilion, as well as a steam room, “his” and “hers” changing rooms, and a hot tub.

In addition to that, it features a spacious terrace, meticulously manicured gardens, and a garage fit for luxury vehicles.

There is a guest restroom and individual elevators in the home. It is believed that Rooney paid a real estate developer in Cheshire more than £4 million to construct it.

Another elevator serves the lower level, where you’ll find a large recreation room, pool, Jacuzzi, and theater.

In 2016, as the police were about to arrive, burglars attempted to gain access to Rooney’s Cheshire house. As a result, they decided to construct the house of their dreams.

The ex-striker, however, spent his formative years at a Liverpool watering hole. He clearly has a knack for real estate, since he rents out his enormous Barbados home for £25,000 per week.

He shelled out a tidy sum in 2007. He spent £320,000 on a Florida beachfront condo and £450,000 on a detached property in Liverpool for his parents.

He met Coleen when they were 16 years old, and they are now said to be worth over £115 million. They possess mansions all around the world.

Rooney ascended swiftly through the ranks at his previous club, Everton, before making a lucrative transfer to Manchester United. At Euro 2004, he was also a standout performer for England.

Under Sir Alex Ferguson’s tutelage, he amassed five Premier League and Champions League titles.

When it came to goals scored for United and England, Rooney surpassed Sir Bobby Charlton’s record. Even though Harry Kane has surpassed Charlton, he now holds the record for both clubs and nations.

Following his injury in 2017, he returned to Everton and finished the season as their leading scorer. His next Major League Soccer club was DC United.

After shocking everyone by returning to England to play for Derby County in the 2020/21 Championship, he scored 23 goals in 48 appearances for the American squad.

A full-size five-a-side field is available on the property for the children to enjoy (!).

Rooney has been away from his family in the US while leading DC United.

The house has a movie theater, a swimming pool, and a garage for his cars.
