Real Madrid and Las Palmas played to a 1-1 draw, meaning that Kylian Mbappé still hasn’t scored in the Spanish league for the defending winners.

Spain’s biggest signing in years, Mbappé, has only scored one goal for Real Madrid so far, in their UEFA Super Cup win over Atalanta earlier this month.

Los Blancos beat Valladolid 3-0 in the previous round, but they opened their title defense with a 1-1 draw at Mallorca. Vinicius Junior got the goal for Madrid.

Thursday was Vinicius’s first league goal of the season. He scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute after a mistake in the area.

Five minutes into the game, Alberto Moleiro scored from inside the box, giving the home team the lead. He got past a couple of players.

As of Tuesday, only Barcelona had three wins in the first three rounds. They did this by beating Rayo Vallecano 2-1.

After coming in third place last season, Girona was a surprise team. They got their first win by beating Osasuna 4-0 at home.

The first goal was scored by Bryan Gil. In the second half, Viktor Tsygankov, Abel Ruiz, and Cristhian Stuani scored to seal the win.

Girona started the season with a tie and a loss. In their first two games, Osasuna tied one and won the other.
