Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey fans were left confused on Sunday when photos emerged of the two saying hello to each other at Super Bowl LVIII — with Swift inside her $1M suite and Del Rey on the outside.
The 34-year-old Karma hitmaker was spotted leaning over the ledge of her box suite seat to shake the 38-year-old songstress’ hand.

Lana – who recently stunned fans with an Instagram post — was on a lower level at Allegiant Stadium as she enjoyed the game from commercial seating.
Fans wasted no time taking to social media to hilariously question why Del Rey was not in the suite alongside the Eras artist.
And some came to the conclusion that it’s because the Video Games singer-songwriter is a hardcore 49ers fan, which Del Rey confirmed in a recent social media clip.

One fan took to X during the high-profile sporting event and asked plainly: ‘Why is lana not in the suite?’
Another demanded, ‘Let Lana in your suite, Taylor!’ and someone else felt the same, writing, ‘Get Lana in that damn suite.’
There was also a social media user who joked, ‘I’m expecting Taylor to let her hair down like Rapunzel so that Lana can climb up into the suite.’
‘I am losing my mind of Lana not being in the suite,’ one person wrote in all caps.
One person predicted, ‘Watch people say that Taylor is being mean to Lana not letting her up in the suite with her.’
One X user wrote, ‘taylor swift throwing lana del rey out of the suite as she begs to come back up another act of villainy after the grammys incident,’ in reference to last week’s supposed Celine Dion snub.
One fan wrote emphatically, ‘HELP LET MY GIRL LANA IN THE SUITE.’

Swift traveled from Tokyo to Los Angeles on Saturday after the Japanese leg of The Eras Tour wrapped, and made the journey to Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
Also spotted in the million-dollar luxury suite was Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, who decked out in Chiefs gear.
The Super Bowl represents the largest Kelce-Swift family get-together in public since Taylor and Travis started dating in September.
This season, Taylor has been present at all three of the Chiefs’ playoff victories; this was her 13th appearance overall in Las Vegas.
Swift presented boyfriend Travis Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce to her friend and recent partner Ice Spice, who had joined her in the suite on Sunday.
The pop sensation was seen introducing herself as she got back together with the 36-year-old star of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ice Spice—real name Isis Gaston—wore her trademark orange curly afro with a happy expression.
The 24-year-old rapper was wearing an open-back black Balenciaga turtleneck.
