Adidas announced Jude Bellingham as the newest face of their high-end Predator range earlier this week. Although the player is still relatively young in his career, it is safe to say that he is already well-known throughout the world of football.
During Adidas’ recent 30th anniversary of the Predator, the Real Madrid starlet was the main attraction. He talked about the many legends who have worn the particular model.
“Zidane is among the greatest midfield players in history,” he declared, selecting from the pool of luminaries that includes Steven Gerrard and David Beckham, according to MARCA.
The former Real Madrid coach left a unique legacy on the boots, and Bellingham felt obligated to wear them, he continued in his statement.
“I want to carry on the tradition of his boots and his number, which is the five.”
Speaking about his favorite memory of Zidane’s Predator kicks, he remarked,
“The first and best memory that comes to mind with these boots is Zidane’s volley, for what it means and the moment.”
Though he maintained a positive attitude, Bellingham, the newest representative of the premium line, talked candidly about the strain he faces.
“I wish for many wonderful times to come, to carry on the heritage of this brand and these boots, and to try to motivate the generation that follows me.”
“Zidane, Beckham, or Gerrard handled it before; now it’s my pride and duty, and I hope to enjoy it,” he continued.
The young player for Real Madrid continued by emphasizing the value of having a strong mental game in the modern game, which has helped him overcome pressure at Real Madrid.
“It’s a mentality thing; these players are all capable of giving their best work in crunch time, big games, and that’s how you get judged in football.”
Bellingham, who had missed out on the Golden Boy award year after year, expressed how great the triumph was when he won it earlier this year by a record margin..
“It didn’t sit well with me, to be honest, but he had placed second twice and won trophies like the Golden Boy naturally.”
When you lose, you start to feel personally hurt. For me, it was all about persevering and trying until I finally understood,” he said.
The child finally acknowledged that he was just getting started and planted the idea that he would only improve with time.
