Real Madrid has a lot of injuries right now, which is why eight of their players couldn’t play against Napoli in the Champions League this week. It could force Carlo Ancelotti to use some of their school products, one of which has a pretty well-known name.

The injury Luka Modric got against Cadiz hasn’t healed in time for Real Madrid to play the Serie A champions on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, Brahim Diaz has been added to the team. There are also Aurelien Tchouameni, Vinicius Junior, Eduardo Camavinga, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Thibaut Courtois, Arda Guler, and Eder Militao on the treatment table with the Croatian.

Ancelotti has called up six players from the Castilla team because of this. He did this after praising Raul Gonzalez for his “very good” job and making sure that the academy players are “always ready.” Gonzalez Garcia Torres made his start last weekend against Cadiz. Lucas Canizares, Fran Gonzalez (both goalkeepers), Mario Martin, Nico Paz, and Theo Zidane are also on the team. Martin and Paz have both made their starts before.

Zidane, who is 21 years old and plays central midfield like his father Zinedine Zidane, is known for being a powerhouse in the middle of the field. He has started 11 of Raul’s 14 games so far. This is the third Zidane son to go through the Castilla academy. The oldest, Enzo, is 28 years old and has played for clubs in Spain and Switzerland. Luca Zidane, who plays goal and is currently Eibar’s first choice in Segunda, has played twice for the senior team, both in La Liga under his father. 

Enzo, on the other hand, played in the Copa del Rey against Cultural Leonesa. Elyaz Zidane, a 17-year-old central defender, is the fourth Zidane prospect at La Fabrica. He is thought to be the most likely of the bunch.
